A talented young teacher personally recommended to us by one of our established staff, Dan is in his 7th year of teaching maths (2019) at a local High school, where he also holds the post of Head of Year 11. He has a degree in computer science and completed his PGCE at Edgehill University, so is well up to date with the latest teaching techniques. Adam is an experience secondary maths & science teacher who was personally recommended to us by one of our established science tutors. Carl is an experienced secondary maths teacher with over 7 years in local High Schools under his belt. Carl has taught across all age ranges in secondaries and helps to coordinate the Year 6 pupils during their transition into school by running maths activities across the ability ranges. At GCSE level Carl has taught all abilities, pushing pupils at Foundation level to gain a Grade C, but also helping students to achieve grade As from middle sets etc. Carl is familiar with the new maths curriculum and is an official EdExcel exam marker at both KS2 and GCSE level! 

Sue has been working in various local secondary schools for over 5 years, so has all the experience and skills to teach GCSE maths. During that time she taught most of the various exam board maths curricula. She knows and understands the new curriculum and is up to date with the 2017 changes to the exam itself. Sue was personally recommended by one of our trusted tutors, so I'm sure she'll very quickly become a popular choice.

Paul has over 20 years teaching experience in various settings - more recently at Wigan and Leigh College. He is able to teach students of any age up to Lower GCSE level. He was personally recommended by one of our established tutors. Paul has successfully guided several students with specific learning difficulties through GCSE maths for Ash Tutors, and has particular skills in those areas - a great choice for those struggling students.

Peter has spent the last 14 years teaching maths Functional Skills at a college of Further Education (on top of his day job as an accountant). This makes him ideal for any students who: 1. Find maths difficult, but want to be proficient in the highly sought-after Functional Skills (by employers!) 2. Any students who are after a Grade of B/C in their maths GCSEs. Natalie has been with us since the start and has over 12 years experience as a qualified maths teacher in an Outstanding School. All her lessons are planned to suit the student's specific needs, with feedback given outlining what has been taught and any areas to work on themselves in preparation for the next lesson. Jane has a wide and varied teaching career spanning 25 years. During that period she's taught in a couple of local High Schools, lectured at Wigan and Leigh College, taught various age groups in Botswana - and still found time to indulge in her hobby of health and nutrition! Jane has ample experience of teaching GCSE and A level maths, both to school age children and also to adults. A rare find indeed!

Sharon has taught maths in a Warrington High School for the past 6 years, where she came in on a Graduate Teachers Programme. She still teaches at the same school, so is right up to date with current practice and initiatives. She can teach secondary maths up to Higher GCSE level, and is willing to either teach from her own home or to travel around Warrington. Sharon is particularly suited to private tuition, as she's been heavily been involved with borderline and struggling pupils at her school -  most of whom achieved a grade more than what was predicted. Natasha has been teaching in a secondary school for several years now at GCSE and A-level in high schools within the local area. During that time she has taught students from various backgrounds and with differing abilities and special need, from dyscalculia, dyslexia to ASD. She has taken students approaching GCSE through to their target grades, both in school, and on a one to one basis. Natasha also has experience working with Years 5 and 6 children from the primary phase, either when working towards SATS or in preparation for private school entrance exams.

Kathryn has been teaching secondary maths for many years right from the primary age range up to GCSE and adult. She has worked in various primary schools as the developer and facilitator of a programme called 'Family Numeracy' which she delivered with great success. Kathryn has taught maths at further education colleges, to school leavers and to adults.

Janice has been involved in teaching, in one form or another, ever since qualifying in 1976. In her extensive teaching career she has worked with a wide variety of age groups. She has taught in Nursery, Infant, Junior, and Secondary Schools, as well as having done a 6-year stint in a Sixth Form College. She also has more than 14 years' experience as a private tutor.
